Ana is leading Serbia in its World Group I Play-off against Germany in Stuttgart this weekend. The match will be played on indoor clay at the Porsche-Arena.
Ana is accompanied in the Serbian team by world No.44 Bojana Jovanovski, Vesna Dolonc (99) and Aleksandra Krunic (155).
The German team consists of world No.6 Angelique Kerber, 28th ranked Mona Barthel, Sabine Lisicki (47) and Anna-Lena Groenefeld (178).
The tie represents the first ever meeting between the two nations.
"It’s going to be very tough to stay in the World Group I. For some years now Germany has had a strong team - they could play any of their team and it would be tough for us," said Ana earlier this week.
"It’s a great challenge for us. Playing away from home makes it even more difficult, of course, but at least in this tie we'll be a little bit familiar with the venue because of the tournament."
“I'm excited to be part of the team and, as always, I'm going to enjoy spending a week with my teammates, on and off the court."
Ana is expected to take on Barthel on Saturday, and Kerber on Sunday.
